Connect Battle.net and import your characters

Adding characters one by one works, but if you play a lot of alts it is tedious. Connecting your Battle.net account lets MythicKey import every character on your account in one step and keep them updated. This guide covers what happens when you connect.

How the connection works

From the sign in page or your dashboard, choose Connect Battle.net. You are sent to Blizzard's own login page, approve access, and are returned to MythicKey. The site never sees your Battle.net password. Blizzard issues a token that lets MythicKey read your character list and public profile data.

What gets imported

Every World of Warcraft character on the account above a minimum level is imported and marked as yours. They are refreshed like any tracked character, but they are kept out of the friends feed so your own runs do not drown out everyone else's.

  • Character name, realm, class, spec and level
  • Mythic+ rating, best runs and recent runs
  • Gear, talents, raid progress, achievements and collections
  • Warband summary across all your characters

Grindwatch and Warband

Your own characters power two features. Grindwatch shows combined progress across all of them, with the best rating and item level per character. The Warband panel on your dashboard shows your highest individual rating and lets you expand the full list of connected characters. Both use cached data so they load instantly.

Frequently asked questions

Is connecting Battle.net required?

No. Search, profiles and tracking work without it. It only saves time importing your own characters.

Can I disconnect later?

Yes. Disconnecting stops imports. Characters already added stay on your list until you remove them.
